The Department of Civil Engineering is one of the founding departments of the Technological University, therefore the department’s logo overlaps with the university’s logo and embraces it. The logo of the Civil Engineering Department consists of a ring containing the logo of the Technological University, and this ring rests on six columns that represent the six branches that make up the Civil Engineering Department. The columns rest on a graded base of bricks that represent the basic building block in the construction process. Through the ring that embraces the university’s logo and the six columns associated with it and the base on which the columns rest, the communication and connection between the Technological University and the Department of Building and Construction Engineering with its six specialized branches appears.
